LLHG Autumn 2024 programme

There are three speaker meetings in LLHG's autum programme this year
September 19:   From Kentmere to the sea, the 1930's slides of Bill Wane
October 17:  Andy Lowe (former LDNP Buildings Conservation Officer) - A Landscape of Industry
November 21:   Dr. Jean Turnbull - Rural Life in South Lakeland in the early 20th century

The September talk will be based on a partial collection of slides taken in the 1930s of a journey down the river Kent to the sea by an Arnside based amateur photographer named Bill Wane, and given to LLHG by Mr. Michael Moser,  which will be supplemented by information about the Moser family's Levens connections.
